Developed by the Urban Development Authority of Sri Lanka (UDA) into a modern shopping complex with the assistance of the 10th Engineering Regiment of the Sri Lanka Army. The old Dutch structure preserves its true features, including its thick walls, granite floor, wooden stairs, and beams. Galle Dutch Hospital stands out in its bright white splendor and offers a nice combination of shops, restaurants, and bars.
