Kotagaga Seven Falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Knuckles Reserve. To get to this you have to travel from Kandy Teldeniya through Rangala. If you go by bus, you have to take the Kotagaga bus from Teldeniya. However, there are very few buses from Teldeniya to Kotagaga. If there is no Kotagaga bus, you have to take a bus to Rangala or Thangappuwa and get off at Rangala and go for a tuk-tuk. There is a small wooden bridge at the end of Kotagaga Road.
You have to cross that bridge and continue on the way up. Then you have to go through a small tea garden and enter the jungle. The footpath is on the left side of the rivers. It is said that there is no footpath to go down the first waterfall. It can be seen in the distance before crossing the falls. If you want to go down from the second waterfall to the seventh waterfall, you have to turn right at the footpath and go back to the waterfall and follow the same main path and go up. You can go back down the same road and go to Thangappu. People say that going to Thangappu is the easiest way.
