Thotapala Kanda is the third highest mountain in Sri Lanka. Thotapala Kanda is situated in the Nuwara Eliya district. The mountain is situated within the Horton plains national park. It is 2357 m above sea level.
The entrance is from the Hortain plains Nuwara Eliya. This is a very historically important place in Sri Lanka since king Ravana. Thotapala Kanda sometimes referred to as the Thotupola peak or Thotupola mountain.
