To reach here you have to get off at Galboda Railway Station, the second railway station on the Kandyan Railway after passing Nawalapitiya. Get off at Galaboda Railway Station and proceed along the railway line towards Nawalapitiya, about 100m to the destination. The first step is to walk a short distance from the station to a hill on the right-hand side. This is the road to go next.

From here you have to walk more than a kilometer through the tea estates and the small footpaths, gazing at the beautiful surroundings. After walking for a while, you can hear the sound of the water coming down from Galaboda Falls and you can see it. As you continue along this way you will come across something like a wooden bridge.

After crossing this bridge you can reach this beautiful waterfall in Galaboda. This waterfall is about 98 feet high. You have to be a little more careful before taking a bath here. Because if it rains on the Watawala side, the water level in the falls will increase at once. If that happens then there is not enough time to come. So keep that in mind as well. Bathe in a safe place where you can quickly come out.
