Bomburu Falls

Bomburu Falls

Sita Eliya Kandapola Forest Reserve is located between 1500 and 2000 m above sea level. Its beautiful Bomburu Ella Falls (also known as Perawella Falls) is a collection of 10 small famous jungle waterfalls. They serve as the Duulgala River, the upper reaches of the main tributary of the Uma River.

The fall occurred at the Paranagama Divisional Secretariat in both the Nuwara Eliya and Badulla districts of the Pewella GS area. From Welimada – Pussellawa road turns off at Ambagasdova junction and follow the Pewella bus route. This road then rises and becomes a winding path that looks a bit dangerous.
