This building has a unique and Greco-Roman engineering and was acquired by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in 2011 to preserve our traditional heritage and unique archaeological value. It has become an essential place in the city. The gallery is maintained by the Bank’s Correspondence Division.
You can still see coins and money from ancient times. Ancient artifacts, paintings by notable and renowned artists can be accessed as well.
