Kallebokka 360 viewpoints (height: 1,175 m) became a popular destination after being promoted by a TV show. The summit is located on the border of the Matale and Kandy districts and forms both the Hatale Min-World End and the Hunnasgiriya Mountain. The peak extends to the north and joins the Knuckles Group to the west.
On a clear day, visitors can explore the Central Highlands, Kandy City, Sembuwatte Lake, and Knuckles Mountains. There are a campground and 02 estate bungalows to accommodate visitors but reservations must be made in advance. In the center of the flat summit are a half-finished Hindu shrine and a hut made of sticks. It is better to visit in the morning to enjoy the uninterrupted views of the fog.
This point of view is a private property owned by Kallebokka Plantations (State Plantation Corporation of Sri Lanka) and can easily accessible via Kandy (32 km) or Matale (26 km).

The road to the top is dilapidated and narrow. A 4wd vehicle is ideal, but bicycles and three-wheelers can also travel with some effort. Cars are not recommended and from now on you can rent a tuk-tuk for Rs.1,000- 1,500 for a roundtrip. It is an easy 1-2 hour walk (altitude: 300m) so if you are not with children or adults, it is a highly recommended experience.
Follow the road for about 2 km and then you will come to a small village in the upper part of the Kellebokke where plantation workers live. Someone will appear at the door and issue your tickets. The ticket price is Rs. 100 / = per person. However, since the current process seems a bit shady, it is time for them to launch a proper ticketing operation. By the way, there are no restaurants on the premises, so bring your food. However, be sure not to leave anything out.
