If you are coming to Nuwara Eliya by train, you can reach this place by walking through a beautiful tea estate about 1.5 km from the Nanu Oya railway station. If you are traveling by car, you can reach Nanu Oya Falls by paying about 6km from Nuwara Eliya.
Starting from Udaradella and Bambarakele, the Nanu Oya falls and joins the Kotmale and Mahaweli rivers, enriching and cooling the surrounding soil. 60m is about 197 feet high.

Although not very high, the stream cascades down a series of rocky stairs, capturing a beautiful view of the tea plantations in the middle of a tea estate. The railway bridge that falls over the waterfall in the middle of the tea estate adds another pattern to the Nanu Oya waterfall.
